IBM FlashSystem
Making Enterprise Storage Easier to Understand
Enterprise storage can quickly become technical, covering everything from workload optimisation and grid architecture to cyber resilience, AI and hybrid cloud. My role was to translate those ideas into clear, visually engaging content across web, editorial, email and short-form video.

COMMUNICATION CHALLENGE
Turning infrastructure complexity into clear business value
The challenge was to communicate more than storage hardware. Technical capabilities needed to connect with concerns that matter to enterprise IT teams, including resilience, scalability, efficiency and operational simplicity, without reducing the credibility of the underlying technology.
CAMPAIGN DIRECTION
A visual system built around performance and resilience
The campaign used dark infrastructure environments, IBM hardware imagery, electric blue lighting and strong information hierarchy to create a technical, high-performance visual language. The system provided enough consistency to connect different messages while remaining flexible across web, email, editorial and video.

LANDING-PAGE EXPERIENCE
Bringing the proposition together
The landing page brought the wider proposition into one focused digital experience, connecting enterprise performance, AI-driven management and cyber resilience with a clear route towards enquiry. The visual hierarchy was designed to make a technically broad proposition easier to navigate and understand.

EDITORIAL CONTENT
Creating space for deeper technical storytelling
Long-form editorial content provided room to explain the technology beyond campaign headlines. The IBM FlashSystem Storage Overview connected topics such as data growth, AI, cyber resilience and infrastructure performance with the wider business case for modernising enterprise storage.

SHORT-FORM VIDEO
Turning technical conversations into focused content
Short-form video distilled longer technical discussions into individual ideas that could be understood quickly. Each piece focused on one subject, from cyber recovery and non-disruptive scaling to AI, hybrid cloud and infrastructure efficiency, while preserving the credibility of the original technical conversation.

Different messages for different business priorities
The email content approached the same storage proposition from different business priorities. One focused on efficiency and storage optimisation, while another centred on cyber resilience and recovery. The message changed with the audience need, while the wider campaign identity remained consistent.
SUPPORTING CAMPAIGN COLLATERAL
Extending the campaign across everyday touchpoints
The campaign identity was also adapted into smaller digital touchpoints, extending recognition beyond the primary web, editorial, email and video content without requiring every asset to carry the same level of information.

TECHNICAL STORYTELLING
From technical capability to tangible value
A key part of the project was finding the clearest business story within technically detailed subject matter. Real-time anomaly detection became a story about faster recovery. Grid architecture became a story about scaling without unnecessary disruption. Storage efficiency became a story about reducing physical footprint, power demands and complexity.
One of the technical examples discussed within the video content was a FlashSystem C200 deployment that achieved more than an 80% reduction in rack space, turning infrastructure efficiency into a tangible and easily understood proof point.
CAMPAIGN SYSTEM
One technical story across multiple formats
Across landing-page content, editorial, email, video and supporting collateral, the same technical themes were adapted to different levels of attention and depth. The result was a connected content system in which each format had a specific role while retaining a recognisable visual and messaging language.
MY CONTRIBUTION
My role focused on translating complex enterprise-storage themes into clear, visually consistent marketing content across web, editorial, email, video and supporting campaign collateral. I adapted information hierarchy, visual treatment and content depth to suit each format, keeping technical messages accessible and credible while supporting product consideration and informed enquiries.
